If you can learn to immunize yourself to the absurd level of fake-ness going on with the people here, Provo can be a suprisingly interesting place to live. BYU does put on an impressive level of cultural events (albeit all G-rated and as controversial as homogenized milk) and the local offerings for the outdoorsy type are, frankly, awesome.
