Second only to Mayberry
I recently moved to Flatwoods, KY, and I'm amazed at the "small town life" here. It's awesome in this day and time to find a town like this. The Russell school system is a beautiful facility that really cares about the kids. Children are able to play outside without their parents worrying. I've lived several places in my life, and I've never lived in a place with such friendly neighbors. Nearly the entire neighborhood have dropped by when we've been outside to introduce themselves. I love it here, and I would recommend it to anyone!!
