West Linn is a nice town but... West Linn is a nice community that caters to a particular brand of people. The town is very affluent with many large homes but boasts an impressive shortage of affordable homes and lacks much of the pizazz of nearby Portland. In short - it's a prototypical bedroom community that is great for affluent middle-aged families who wish to escape the Portland culture and send their children to excellent schools.
