A fair and balanced review of Santa Clara I have lived in Santa Clara California most of my life so I consider myself to be an expert. The climate is wonderful. The price of housing is way above the national average. The inventory of housing is very low and does not meet the demand. There are plenty of hospitals and Urgent Care facilities. Public schools are not the worst but they are not the best either. The city government seems to be bent on high-rise development near or close to old residential areas. The traffic is horrendous and just getting out to nature is a big hassle. San Jose International Airport is nearby so noise is a problem. I personally do not like Santa Clara but I'm stuck until I find a better place to live that is more affordable and less congested.
