A different place to live.
I have now lived in Temple Terrace for 4 years. Its a strange place to live in that the town is divided. One side of 56th st is very nice and upscale (pricey-pricey), and the other side is low-income living, much higher crime rate. The city is revamping its image to be the next Westchase, with many quaint shops and dining. The river is gorgeous and the the schools are pretty good. There are several upscale public parks (on the nice side of the street)that have recently gone in. Strange I know, but all-in-all very centrally located to all attractions. 20 min to downtown Tampa, 30-40min to beaches, 10min to Busch Gardens.
