Homeowner Housing is super cheap here. So we are mortgage free. Weather is hot and dry. Good to dry up inflammations. Las Vegas and Palm Springs are much hotter. 29Palms is a laid back rural city of 30,000 with a large Marine base to inject money into the economy and market rentals if you buy and decide this hi desert oasis is not for you, just rent your investment. People stop and talk to one another here. The views are breathtaking. The air is cleaner. There is little crime. And less traffic.
