Shopping Bowie should have better department stores. One has to travel to another city to find a Nordstroms and other upscale stores. Bowie Towne Center seems to bring in lesser quality of items although the people who live in a 5 mile radius obviously do well financially, living in homes of an average of 3000-5000 sq ft and 2 acres of land. Also, there is a difference in quality of foods in the supermarkets in Bowie compared to Crofton, that being lower in quality in Bowie community. I would hate to think that it is not diverse enough in order to rate a higher quality.
