Schools in SW Broward While I could think of many cons to living in Broward Co, the one area I must praise is the public schools. Having three children in public schools in Pembroke Pines, two with IEPs; (one child is severely handicapped) the services are very good compared to other cities and states. As a parent of and advocate for disabled children I have looked closely at the services in other regions of Florida and the entire nation. Broward Schools do an excellent job for a population as large as this.
