Emerald Isle - The Gem of the Crystal Coast!
If you're seeking that perfect family vacation beach getaway on the North Carolina coast, it just doesn't get any better than Emerald Isle. Offering so many great things to do, outstanding seafood restaurants and a wide variety of home buying options, Emerald Isle is also home to many permanent residents as well. As expected with any vacation destination, one has to deal with the summer swell in population and mini traffic jams, however the overall quality of life on Emerald Isle is very high.
To offer a fair and balanced opinion, the locals do have to deal with more crowded restaurants, busier grocery stores and heavier traffic during the summer "high-season". Everyone pretty much accepts that element as "the baggage" that comes with the popularity of this beautiful coastal North Carolina town. We just happen to think Emerald Isle is the "Gem" of the Crystal Coast.
