Alamogordo Living
I've lived in Alamogordo for two years now after living in Tacoma, Washington (too much rain, too much crime) for 20 years. Generally, it's a nice little conservative town with low crime, cheap housing and little traffic - probably a good place to retire. However, I can't stand desert living! There's too much sun, no lakes/rivers/ocean and too much brown everywhere(yuck)! I can hardly wait to move almost anywhere else that has more water, trees & isn't so flat.
