weather I've been in Blowing Rock for about 8 years and can't wait to leave this gloomy place. It is grey and cloudy most of the time. The rating it has on this site of 199 days of sunshine is wrong. They must be counting the days where we see the sun for maybe an hour before it goes grey again. So depressing. It is a beautiful town to vacation and when it is sunny, it is superb but don't move here if you like sunshine or get depressed from continuous fog and overcast grey weather!
