Best Kept Secret in New Mexico
Despite the unfortunate experience of one family that wrote three different reviews, Raton if the smart choice for both affordability and the relaxed lifestyle of a small rural community. We are ideally located at the intersection of Interstate 25 and US Highways 64/87. Just south of the Colorado Border, Raton is surrounded by beautiful landscapes and scenic views. A destination for all ages, we have clean air, pure water, and abundant recreational opportunities. Located on the Mountain Branch of the Santa Fe Trail, Raton has a rich and romantic history which features excellent examples of architecture from the late 1800's and early 1900's. Others call it the Land of Enchantment, but we are proud to call it home.
