Small southern town Although there are some nice people here, the majority are right wing, not very open minded. Covid vaccine rate is just barely over 30% in October of 2021. Reasonable traffic and low cost of living, but not much to do short of driving ~50 minutes to the larger town up the highway. No Uber. No safe bicycle routes, if you want to ride to the grocery you are on the road with cars and no shoulder. Hiking opportunities are limited.
