Dixon Illinois - a great place to live! Moved out of the Chicago Suburbs 16 years ago and won't go back. Housing is low cost, everything from gas prices to home prices lower than the suburbs and you can get there in an hour to visit friends and relatives that are stuck there. Great river community with a strong family feeling, pleasant people everywhere, but lacking in business opportunities. If you are looking to find a good place for your business this would be a place to look into. Right off the interstate I-88 with easy access to Iowa too.
