Responding to the comment about the escalating costs in Boynton Beach, FL, from the writer who moved there from CT.....We are looking fwd to retiring there in 2-3 years for a relief from the extraordinary costs associated with our present (and past 6 yrs residence)location on Long Is., NY.
We will be able to easily live on 1/3 of our current needs here in NY.
The writer should consider moving to NM, as our daughter will be doing shortly, coming from Seattle. Her costs will be 20% lower there than in WA state. Just don't try to live in downtown Santa Fe.
