Hannibal - Pros/Cons Pros: 1. Low crime rate 2. Extremely low cost of living 3. Affordable place to live 4. Good school system 5. Very nice downtown 6. The Mark Twain amenities, such as Mark Twain Cave and Mark Twain's childhood home 7. Mark Twain Lake is nearby 8. An overall good place to live and raise a family Cons: 1. Very polluted -- lots of illegal trash dumping 2. Not very much to do aside from the amenities listed above 3. It's only 10 miles from Quincy, Illinois, which is a horrible place to live
