Unless this is a dream come true, the only way to live comfortably in New York City is to hit Lotto ASAP!!! I was born and raised in NYC and I am about to graduate from undergrad, with my degree in arm and my paycheck in the other, I am still just making the rent each month. I know that goin to grad school will put a dent in my wallet however, living in NYC, the dent has turned into a big giantic hole.
I am a close to my forties and I am ready to leave the "Big Apple" and start over in another state to pursue the American dream... life, liberty and shopping.
