People
We have been in Needville for a year now, our son is at the high school. I would say for the Houston Area it is a good place to live.Its very safe, I have never felt and fear here. Its a nice country place. Boots and jeans, lots of rodeo people. Great FFA location. BUT People by far, ARE not friendly to outsiders. AT ALL. So if you are looking to move in and make friends quick,this is not the place for you. The school system is very strict which works for us but if you have a kid who doesnt do well in that enviornment you should stay clear. We have decided to move for this reason, I need friend and things to do, a year of being an outsider is really wearing on me.
