Union Grove, AL is a small town located in the southern part of Alabama. With a population of only 69 people, it is one of the smallest towns in the state. Despite its small size, Union Grove has a relatively high population density at 142.09 people per square mile, which is much higher than the national average of 93.29 people per square mile.
The town provides residents with various activities and amenities to enjoy year-round. Local businesses include stores such as The Country Store and Bob’s Thrift Shop, as well as restaurants like Bama BBQ & Grill and The Oak Tree Tavern. For outdoor activities, there are several parks in the area such as Friendship Park and Kirkland Park with plenty of space for hiking or fishing. Every summer, Union Grove hosts an annual watermelon festival which features music acts from across the region and delicious food provided by local vendors. Additionally, nearby cities offer many sporting events to attend including football games at Auburn University or baseball games at Montgomery Biscuits Stadium.
