Byron, ME is a small town located in the western part of the state. With a population of just 176 people, it is one of the smallest towns in Maine. Despite its size, Byron offers plenty of activities and organizations to do. There are several local businesses including a gas station, convenience store, hardware store and post office. For outdoor activities there are plenty of hiking trails with scenic views around the area as well as fishing spots near Lake Byron. Every summer, there is an annual carnival where locals can enjoy traditional fair rides and games. The town also has several sports teams like baseball, basketball and soccer that compete at the local level throughout the year. In addition to recreational activities Byron also hosts many community events such as farmers markets and educational seminars throughout the year for residents to participate in.
