Cordova, NM is a small town with a population of 185 people located in the southwestern United States. It has a population density of 361 people per square mile, making it one of the more sparsely populated areas in the country. Despite its size, Cordova has many things to offer both residents and visitors alike. Businesses in Cordova include The Country Store, which offers groceries and household items; The Barbershop, for men’s and women’s haircuts; and The Leather Shop, which sells handmade leather goods. As for outdoor activities, Cordova boasts fishing opportunities on the Pecos River as well as camping, mountain biking, and horseback riding in nearby national forests. Organizations such as the Cordova Historical Society host events throughout the year to help promote local culture while providing educational opportunities for community members. Local sports teams are active in baseball and basketball tournaments as well as competitive rodeo events. With so much to do in this small town, it's no wonder why so many people love living here!
