Costilla, NM is a small town with an estimated population of 388 people located in the Northern part of New Mexico. Despite its small size, Costilla offers a wide range of services and activities for residents and visitors. Local businesses such as Vega’s Auto Repair and The Blue Teal Inn offer excellent services to the town’s residents. During the warmer months, there are many outdoor activities such as horseback riding, hiking, camping, biking, and hunting that residents can enjoy. For more leisurely activities, there are several organizations including Lions Club International that hold regular meetings and events for members like fundraising dinners or community service projects. The town also has two popular sporting events: The Costilla County Rodeo held every June and the San Luis Valley Air Show held every August. With its friendly atmosphere and wide variety of activities to do, Costilla is an ideal place to call home.
