Moon Lake, ND is a small town located in the northern region of North Dakota with a population of approximately 55 people. The population density is 2 people per square mile, which is significantly lower than the US Population Density of 93 people per square mile. Moon Lake is known for its annual 4th of July parade and Festival that brings visitors from all over the state. Locals also enjoy year-round outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking, camping, and snowmobiling in the nearby national parks like Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park.
The town has an abundance of local businesses such as The Country Store, Cattail Cafe & Bakery, Moon Lake Resort & Restaurant, Moonshine Saloon & Casino, and Katherines Hair Salon & Boutique.
