Star, ND People

Star, ND is a small rural town with a population of only 14 people. The population density is just one person per square mile. Despite its size, Star is full of activity throughout the year and plenty of ways to stay active and entertained. Locals can often be found shopping at the local general store or visiting some of the restaurants in town, including the Star Café and Star Bakery. For outdoor activities, residents enjoy fishing on nearby Lake LaMoure and hiking and biking along the many nature trails surrounding the area. There are also several community organizations in Star dedicated to preserving its unique heritage, such as the Historic Preservation Society which holds an annual festival in June. Finally, sports enthusiasts can watch or take part in some of the local sporting events like basketball tournaments in nearby communities or football games at high school stadiums. All these activities make Star a great place to live and raise a family.
