Lumber, PA is a small but vibrant town located in the northern part of the state. With a population of just 120, it is a tight knit community with a strong sense of identity. The local businesses are mostly family owned and include Bush's Hardware Store, Segers Grocery Store, and Lumber Diner & Cafe.
Aside from shopping at the local businesses, residents have plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities year-round. Hunting and fishing are popular amongst locals due to its prime location near lakes and wooded areas. In addition to these organizations, there is an active shooting range located on Main Street which allows residents to practice their marksmanship skills without having to travel far out of town for access to a gun range.
