Despite its small size, Richland Springs is home to a variety of local businesses, outdoor activities and organizations. These include the Richland Springs General Store which provides groceries and other supplies to locals; the River Valley Lodge which offers camping and fishing opportunities; and the historic Mill Pond which has been preserved for over 100 years. There are also many year-round outdoor activities available in Richland Springs, such as hunting, hiking trails, and bird watching. The town is also home to several youth sports teams like basketball and softball that participate in regional tournaments throughout the year. Other local organizations include the Lion’s Club which provides scholarships to graduating seniors from Richland Springs High School. All in all, Richland Springs is an idyllic small town with plenty of things to do throughout the year.
