Nikiski, Alaska is a small fishing community located on the Kenai Peninsula. Despite its size, Nikiski is home to several religious congregations, representing various denominations and faiths. The First Baptist Church of Nikiski, founded in 1969, serves as the main Baptist church in the area and holds weekly services for its members. The Refuge Fellowship also provides weekly church services for its members, and is open to people of all backgrounds who are seeking spiritual guidance. The New Hope Assembly of God has been providing weekly services since 2004 and offers a variety of activities for children and youth. There is also a Calvary Chapel in Nikiski that meets on Sundays.
