Cora, KS is a small town with a population of about 100 people. Despite its small size, the town is home to several churches. These include the Church of Cora, St. John’s Lutheran Church, and Cora United Methodist Church. The Church of Cora was established in 1874 and serves as a place of worship for both local families and visitors to the area. St. John's Lutheran Church was founded in 1875 and offers traditional services as well as community outreach programs aimed at providing food, clothing, education and shelter for those in need. Finally, Cora United Methodist Church has been operating since 1903 and serves as a welcoming place for all members of the community regardless of their beliefs. All three churches provide an important spiritual sanctuary for people living in Cora who may otherwise find themselves isolated from larger religious bodies outside of the city limits.
