Machiasport, ME is a small town located on the coast of Maine. The area has a population of just over 800 people, and is home to several churches that serve the local religious community. St. Anne's Episcopal Church is one of the oldest congregations in the area, having been founded in 1834 as a mission to serve residents in this part of Maine. The church offers weekly services with an emphasis on traditional Anglican liturgy and scripture readings. Another notable church is Calvary Baptist Church, which was established in 1887 and serves mainly Protestant denominations including Baptists, Presbyterians and Methodists.
