Allen, ND Religion

Allen, ND is a small town with a population of just over 300 people. Despite its size, the town is home to four churches that serve the community’s spiritual needs. One of those churches is St. George’s Orthodox Church, which has been in Allen since the early 1900s and remains one of the last standing wooden churches in North Dakota. This gorgeous historic building serves a congregation of devoted Christians who have been worshipping there for generations. The other three churches in Allen include Maranatha Baptist Church, Open Bible Church and Zion Lutheran Church. Each church offers its own services and events throughout the year, ranging from Sunday school classes to Bible studies and youth groups. These local congregations provide spiritual guidance to not only their members, but also to the entire community of Allen and its surrounding areas, helping to bring faith and peace into everyone’s lives.
