Hydaburg, AK is a small community of approximately 350 people located on Prince of Wales Island in Southeast Alaska. Despite its small size, Hydaburg has an impressive education system with four local schools - the Hydaburg City School (K-12), the Hydaburg Cooperative School (PreK-8th grade), Kahtnu Haida Heritage School ( PreK-6th grade) and Haida Headstart (Preschool). All four schools strive to provide an excellent learning experience for their students, and they have consistently received high ratings in recent years. The atmosphere at each school is family-like and supportive, with teachers and staff going above and beyond to ensure that all children receive the best possible education.
