Syracuse, Indiana is a small town with a population of around 3,000 people. Despite its size, the town has an excellent school system with four public schools and one Christian school. The public schools include Syracuse Elementary, Wawasee Middle School, Wawasee High School, and North Webster Elementary. Each of these schools have been rated highly by the Indiana Department of Education for their academic performance and safety standards. At each school, students are taught at high levels to ensure they receive the best education possible. Furthermore, the district focuses on providing resources beyond academics such as music, art, athletics and other extracurricular activities to foster growth in the whole child. The Christian School is also highly rated and offers its students an opportunity for spiritual development alongside their academic pursuits. Overall the schools in Syracuse offer excellent educational opportunities for its residents.
