Midfield, AL is a small city located in central Alabama with a population of around 8,500 people. While the city is not very large and does not have its own political representation, it is still closely tied to the politics of the larger Birmingham metropolitan area. The mayor of Midfield is Stanley Sands, who was first elected in 2004 and has been reelected several times since then.
