Mountain Center, CA is a small community located in the foothills of the San Bernardino Mountains. Although it has a small population of just over 200 people, it has an active and involved local politics scene. The town is governed by a five-member Town Council that meets regularly to discuss local issues and make decisions about them. The Town Council is elected by the residents of Mountain Center and serves for two-year terms. The Town Council works with other government agencies such as the County Board of Supervisors, State Legislature, and Federal Government to ensure that all citizens of Mountain Center are represented in local matters. In addition to the Town Council, there are various committees and boards made up of local residents that meet throughout the year to discuss topics such as land use, economic development, public safety, parks and recreation, education, and more. These committees work together with town staff to address important local issues and present their findings to the Town Council for approval or further action. This involvement from all segments of the community helps ensure that everyone’s voice is heard in Mountain Center’s political system.

R if the Republican Party candidate won, D if the Democratic Party candidate won and I if the Independent Party candidate won.
