Rowland Heights, CA is an unincorporated community in Los Angeles County with a population of around 48,000. Located at the eastern edge of the San Gabriel Valley, it is mainly residential and commercial. Politically, Rowland Heights is represented by a board of directors that consists of five elected members who serve four-year terms. The current board members are: Sylvia Ballin, Judy Huang, Bill Manolatos, Ed Ng and Robert Hwang. As representatives of the community, they are responsible for approving land use plans and making recommendations to county agencies on behalf of Rowland Heights residents. Additionally, they meet regularly with local business owners to discuss issues affecting the town. The board also works closely with other local government departments such as health services and public safety to ensure that residents have access to vital services. With dedicated leadership from its elected representatives, Rowland Heights continues to be a vibrant and welcoming place for all who live there.
