Eustis, Florida is a small city located in the Lake County area, with a population of about 20,500 people according to the 2010 census. It is known for its charming downtown area with many local businesses and unique attractions like its historic district, and city-sponsored events such as Trout Fishing on the Lake. In recent years, several candidates have run for office in Eustis. Most recently, there was a contested mayor's race between incumbent Robert Morin and challenger Raymond Hughes.
