Nahunta, GA is a small town located in the south-eastern state of Georgia. Although it is considered a fairly rural community, it still has its own unique set of politics that affect the everyday lives of its residents. The current mayor is Joe Wainright, who has served since 2017. The city council consists of five members; each member serves for four years at a time.
