Greencastle, IN is a small city located in Putnam County. It is known for its small-town charm and historic buildings. Politically, Greencastle is governed by a Mayor elected every four years and a six-member City Council with members representing each of the city’s six wards. The City Council’s main responsibilities are to establish policy, approve ordinances, and approve budgets. This past year was an especially active one for politics in Greencastle as the mayor's office saw three different candidates vying for the position. All three candidates ran on platforms that emphasized improving quality of life for residents through improved infrastructure and services, increased job opportunities, and better protection of the environment. Despite the noteworthy competition between the candidates, ultimately Mayor Gordan Nettles won re-election demonstrating his popularity among residents of Greencastle.

I have grown up in the small town of Greencastle and it is quite amazing really. Very green and not bad traffic though there is some. Regardless I recommend living here  More
