Greenwood, LA is a small city located in the northwest corner of Louisiana. While it may not be the largest city in the state, its residents still take great pride in their local government and political process. The citizens of Greenwood have elected leaders from both major parties to serve on the City Council and as their representatives in local state government. Elections are held regularly for these positions and many of the council members are active within their community, engaging with locals on issues that matter to them.
