Eaton Rapids Township has a five-member Board of Trustees which consists of the Supervisor, Clerk, Treasurer and two Trustees. The board sets the policy and direction for the township by overseeing the budget, approving contracts and taking action on zoning issues. In addition to the Board of Trustees, Eaton Rapids also has an elected mayor who serves as the chief executive officer for the township.
