Three Oaks Township is a small community located in the state of Michigan. Despite its size, the township is an important part of the local political landscape. The township is governed by a five-member Board of Trustees, who are elected by residents in staggered four-year terms. Each trustee serves in one of three roles as either Chairperson, Treasurer, or Clerk and each is responsible for managing different aspects of the township’s operations. In addition to the trustees, Three Oaks also has representation on the County Board of Commissioners and at both the state and federal level with representatives from Michigan's 6th congressional district.
