Stewartstown is a small town in New Hampshire with a population of about 2,600 people. The town is governed by a three-member Board of Selectmen which is responsible for enacting laws and regulations that benefit the town’s citizens. The selectmen are elected every two years and serve staggered terms of six years each. In addition, Stewartstown also has an annual Town Meeting where local residents can vote on important issues such as budgets, taxes, zoning regulations, ordinances and other matters. Currently, there are no political candidates running for office from Stewartstown.
