Upper Pittsgrove, New Jersey is an unincorporated community located in Salem County. The local political scene in Upper Pittsgrove consists of a variety of representation at the county and state level. At the county level, Salem County is represented by Freeholder Director, Ben Laury, Freeholders Julie Acton and Bob Vanderslice, and Sheriff Charles Miller. At the state level, Upper Pittsgrove is represented by Senator Jeff Van Drew in the first legislative district. Senator Van Drew is a long-time advocate for the community and has recently sponsored legislation to promote economic development opportunities in the area. Additionally, Assemblyman Bob Andrzejczak serves as another voice for Upper Pittsgrove's interests at the state level.
