Unadilla, NY is a small village in Otsego County with a population of 1,213 people. Politically, the village leans to the right as most of its inhabitants are registered Republicans. At the local level, Unadilla is represented by Mayor Bruce Rauch and Trustees William Hulbert and Craig Cochrane. All three were elected in 2017 and held their posts until 2021 when they were reelected. The village also has a Town Council which meets monthly to discuss issues related to the town's budget and growth plans. As a part of Otsego county, Unadilla also participates in countywide elections for county-level officials such as Sheriff or District Attorney. Unadilla residents can also vote in state-level elections for Assembly members or Senators. Finally, all US citizens over the age of 18 have the right to vote in federal elections for President and other important government offices.
