Zanesville, Ohio is a city located in the southeastern corner of the state. It is known for its annual Zane Gray Festival and its unique landscape of rolling hills, caves, creeks and woodlands. Politically, Zanesville lies within Muskingum County and is represented in both the Ohio House of Representatives and the Ohio Senate. The current representatives for Zanesville are State Representative Brian Hill (R) for the 97th District and State Senator Tim Schaffer (R) for the 31st District. Both representatives have been allies to Governor Mike DeWine in his efforts to tackle issues such as opioid addiction and economic development.
