Webb City, OK is a small rural town located in the southwest corner of the state. As with many rural towns, Webb City has limited political representation. The town is represented by the Oklahoma Senate and House of Representatives, both of which are comprised of elected members from across the state. At the local level, residents elect a mayor and four city council members to represent them in the city's decision-making process. The current mayor is Dwayne Turner, who was first elected in 2018. He ran on a platform of improving infrastructure and economic development while also advocating for better access to health care and education for all citizens. Under his leadership, the city has seen an increase in job opportunities as well as improved infrastructure such as better roadways and bike lanes throughout the city. With Mayor Turner at the helm, Webb City is looking forward to continued growth and prosperity through positive investments in its people and resources.
