Nether Providence, Pennsylvania is a small town located just outside of Philadelphia in Delaware County. It is a part of the Wallingford-Swarthmore School District and has a population of approximately 12,500 people. The local government is led by the Township Council with five members elected at-large to serve four-year terms. The Mayor serves as the Chairperson for the Township Council and is elected by the residents of Nether Providence.
