Sharon, Pennsylvania is located in Mercer County and is a part of the Youngstown-Warren-Boardman Metropolitan Statistical Area. Though it is a small town, Sharon has an active political environment. The local government is organized into two branches, the executive branch headed by the Mayor, and the legislative branch made up of six Council Members.
