Allen County, Indiana is located in the northeast corner of the state and is home to a diverse population of nearly 355,000 people. The county encompasses several cities, each with their own local politics. The county seat is Fort Wayne and it is the political center of Allen County. The city has an elected mayor and city council that help provide oversight for local government policies and decisions. Local elections are held every two years in November for mayor, city councilors, school board members, township trustees, and other local offices. All registered voters in Allen County are eligible to vote in these local elections for their representatives and officials who will best represent their interests.
