It is served by Representative Sam Graves as its federal representative in the U.S. House of Representatives and Senator Roy Blunt as its Senator in the United States Senate. At the local level, Ralls County elects three county commissioners, the county clerk, sheriff, prosecuting attorney, assessor and collector of revenue, coroner and public administrator. The county also has several other elected positions including two circuit court judges and one associate court judge who serve four-year terms.
